Indoor Air Quality, aka IAQ, is a growing concern for homeowners. We spend over 90% of our time indoors. Before you hire an Environmental Consultant your Home Inspector can help you assess the need for additional testing. Are the fans removing waste moisture? Has the basement been poorly ventilated? Are there signs of flooding that could lead to mould blooms? The OAHI Standard of Practice specifically excludes environmental and IAQ discovery and reporting. THI Inc will refer you to a specialist should concerns arise during the conduction of your inspection.
