Why you should call "THE HOME INSPECTORTM"
Ontario has no system in place for the licensing of Home Inspection professionals.
The establishment of the OAHI (now also CAHPI Ontario) by the Provincial legislature in 1986, was the first step towards protecting Ontario's consumers. Only Registered Home Inspectors (RHI) have been through the most rigorous testing and screening in the industry. Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation [CMHC] is working with CAHPI to set a minumim national standard for home inspectors but you can be assured that OAHI's standards will exceed those set in the National Initiative. (James helped set the National Standards as a member of the pilot group of inspectors who were screened and tested. He recieved CAHPI's National Certificate Holder standing in November of 2006).
James has over twenty five years of experience in the Construction and Environmental fields. From Burcon Construction to the University of Guelph's Environmental Studies and from there to the Federal Government's Energuide for Houses program, James has proven to be both a professional tradesman and an educator of the highest caliber.
By adhering to the OAHI Code of Ethics and surpassing its minimum Standard of Practice, "The Home Inspector" ensures top quality inspections, always.
